We’re looking for three dynamic new Business Development Executives to work with our Business Development Manager and Chief Growth Officer to help drive our company up scaling, and take our direct sales results to the next level.

Working in a fun, open and honest culture, you will be self-motivated, a planner and have great sales acumen, helping us to build strong customer relationships and sell Income Group’s services into businesses across the UK.

The position, based out of our Head Office in the Wirral, offers the right candidate the perfect platform to grow in their Business Development career and make an impact at such an important stage in our journey. 

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Perform effective research and develop new business opportunities for Income Group’s services within the small to medium business marketplace
  • Develop sales strategies to best position Income Group B2B services with prospects/clients
  • Initiating outbound telephone, email and social outreach contact with potential customers
  • Qualify and close B2B sales appointments/deals with prospects
  • Identify, develop and qualify new business opportunities with decision makers
  • Excellent administration skills, accurately updating Salesforce (CRM) and providing with accurate synopses of qualified sales appointments and supplying pre-meeting documents
  • Able to work towards and exceed targets with a competitive spirit while upholding quality and integrity
  • Ambassador for Income Group operating professionally at all levels, including C-level
  • Help to co-ordinate workshop style events with partners and prospects
  • Communicate activity and progress to Business Development Manager
  • Participate on weekly update calls and quarterly face to face reviews

  • Confident prospecting and closing B2B business in a high-tempo environment

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to help drive our company up scaling, and take our direct sales results to the next level.

The post holder will bring strategic insight, smart planning and sales acumen and work closely alongside our supportive leadership team, in particular our Chief Growth Officer.

You will be responsible for leading and motivating a small team of direct Business Development Executives building strong customer relationships and selling Income Group’s services into businesses across the UK.

You will also work closely with the Outreach and Marketing team to shape the new business acquisition and engagement strategy, including content and prospect targeting.

This is a key hire for the business and offers the right candidate the perfect platform and autonomy to further develop our Business Development Team, their own career and really make an impact at such an important stage in our journey. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a strategic plan to drive new business customer acquisition
  • Recruit our Business Development team
  • Create new business sales plans and associated targets/commercial plans
  • Manage and motivate the Business Development team to achieve sales targets
  • Identify and nurture prospect/existing relationships with commercial companies across the UK
  • Work with the Chief Growth Officer and Outreach/Marketing Functions to shape prospect/marketing campaigns that stand out
  • Operate as a consultative partner, building relationships with Payroll Bureaux and Accounting firms to identify and close new business
  • Measure and report (Salesforce) on all business development activities, key KPIs and success metrics
  • Prospect potential channel partners and extend our offerings into all sized financial institutions
  • Attend face to face meetings with Prospects/Customers as appropriate to support sales pitches, review meetings etc.
  • Attend events/conferences/tradeshows/webinars as needed to support the direct and partner channels to build profile, identify new business opportunities and cement relationships

About you

We’re seeking someone who wants to make this role their own, who is driven, self-motivated, and can bring some great ideas to the table to drive our sales strategy. The following would also be desirable:

  • Proven ability in achieving sales targets within a fintech, financial services, payment or payroll related business.
  • 8+ years global sales/sales management experience with a successful history of selling B2B product and services
  • Demonstrable skills in leading and motivating sales teams to success – including recruitment, lead generation, mentoring and target setting.
  • Experience of working in a high-tempo sales team environment driving and closing multiple sales deals per week.
  • Proven sales pipeline management skills, showing an understanding of the sales funnel and activities needed to drive consistent and frequent sales results
  • Has an inquisitive nature and is resilient and energetic with a never give up mentality
  • Desire to be a part of successful team with an open and flexible culture
  • Any prior experience working in the payroll marketplace would be advantageous.
  • Role will require some travel to meet with clients, so flexibility and own vehicle is a must

Income Group are looking for 2 x Developers to create new React Applications. You will get involved with developing and designing user interface components and implementing them following ReactJS workflows (Redux) and Functional Components. Working closely with the business you will predict application development requirements based on underlying architecture changes. Working within a team you will support the development of a new application, documenting requirements and lead design.

Analysing, designing, programming, debugging, supporting, and modifying software enhancements and/or new products used in local, network, or cloud. Completing all documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

There are two roles on offer:

  • Lead Developer
  • Mid-Level

The scope of your role will reflect the skills and experience you can offer.

  • Have extensive and proven skills in:
    • JavaScript /TypeScript
    • React Functional Components, 
    • React with Redux
  • Have experience in Front End Development and are committed to becoming an integral part of and fostering growth within an expanding development team.
  • Are familiar with GIT.
  • Have experience with AWS console, ec2 and S3.
  • Have knowledge of MySQL/SQL Server
  • Comfortable with application coding based on design and specifications and have worked with application protocols such as JSON and REST

  • Thorough understanding of React.JS and its core principles
  • JavaScript/TypeScript Development experience
  • Experience interfacing with back-end applications using RESTFUL services, and JSON.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

  • Ability to develop functional, technical and user interface designs for an application that meets the defined requirements (business, system performance and standards)
  • Demonstrates deep expertise in specific coding concepts and/or languages, especially around modern application architectures.

  • Experience in highly-secured online environments that use n-tier designs and extensive fire walling to enhance security.
  • Experience in multi data centre physical implementation models for scalability and resilience.
  • Experience partnering with others to solve problems quickly and efficiently.

Data Analyst Spec

The role is based out of the Wirral office and would involve working closely with both our Operations Team and our Marketing Team. Providing essential support both units. You will assist in preparing, planning and analysing the results of marketing campaigns to maximise brand promotion, enabling Income Group to increase business and publicise the values of the company to maximise income.  On the operational side, you will be involved in the reporting of company performance, writing data driven reports and

 

Duration: 18 Months

Hours: 35

Apprenticeship level: Level 3

Training Provider: Baltic

 

 

Key responsibilities for this role include:

 

  • Analyse our customer base using key indicators such as Industry, Size, Trading Duration
  • Review marketing campaign results, patterns and trends to suggest improvements
  • Creation of SQL reports from our core system to support billing & performance
  • Performing regular checks on data within the system to ensure quality is maintained
  • Creation of Exec Level reports using a variety of formats to show business performance
  • Interrogation of core systems to identify appropriate client subsets for use in marketing campaigns
  • Creation of SQL stored procedures to automate reporting

 

 

To be suitable for this role you will have:

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills – ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake various administrative duties
  • A self-starter that is proactive, shows initiative and is dependable to work autonomously
